The Dallas Alumnae Panhellenic Association is proud to sponsor an Annual Scholarship Program to recognize our outstanding DISD zone high school seniors and/or our National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) collegians planning to attend or currently attending an accredited 4-year college or university.

Sisterhood

Founded in 1931, the Dallas Alumnae Panhellenic Association is a community based organization, affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), whose membership is composed of twenty representative alumnae from the twenty-six NPC member group fraternities.

Service

Our member groups are also involved individually within the community in various philanthropic and social service projects.

Made up of 26 women’s-only inter/national member organizations, the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the world’s largest trade association specifically charged with advancing the sorority experience. Through its advocacy, programs and initiatives, NPC ensures the sorority experience continues to meet the needs of today’s collegiate women.

The Dallas Alumnae Panhellenic Association is proud to sponsor an Annual Scholarship Program to recognize our outstanding DISD zone high school seniors and/or our National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) collegians planning to attend or currently attending an accredited 4-year college or university.

To qualify, applicants must be graduating Spring 2023 or have previously graduated from high school in the DISD or Highland Park ISD attendance zones (Addison and University Park inclusive).

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide further tuitional financial assistance. The number of scholarships awarded and the amount of each is determined each year by the DAPA Scholarship Committee annual budget. These funds will be paid directly to the university at the beginning of the 2023 fall semester.

The 2023-2024 scholarship will open to applicants in February 2023.

Applications will close on April 7, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

Applicants:

  1. Must be graduating in Spring 2023 or have graduated from a high school in the attendance zones of DISD or HPISD (including Addison and University Park).

  2. If collegiate, must be a full-time NPC current freshman, sophomore, or junior active collegian woman attending an accredited 4-year college or university.

  3. May be a previous DAPA scholarship recipient who is an active NPC collegiate member attending a college or university.

  4. If collegian, must be in good standing with their NPC member group.

  5. Must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

  6. Applicants with a full tuition scholarship or grant are not eligible.

  7. Applicants who are related to current DAPA delegates or alternate delegates are not eligible.
